Overcoming Foot Odor

I was a teacher in junior high school. My activity is to teach the children. Every day I always gather with the children. But there is one thing that often interfere me when I gathered with the children. Especially when I was teaching in the laboratory, where the children have to take off their shoes when entering the laboratory. You know what makes me annoyed?? Smelly feet are caused socks they never washed for a month haha. But this is real, almost half of the students have a typical scented foot.
Starting from here, I figure out what exactly makes the feet can have odor. Once I find the reference, I found the answer on this. According to the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the problem of bad smell in the feet are generally caused by bacteria and fungi in the shoe, which enter through the skin. But you need not worry, because this problem can actually be solved with some creative ideas below:
1.      Wear cotton socks
Use socks with comfortable material and good circulation to the feet not damp. If smelly feet has always been a regular problem for you, use socks when you are wearing shoes. Without socks, sweat in the foot, it usually will go directly to the shoe. Socks help to absorb sweat and can reduce the growth of bacteria in the shoe. Socks made of cotton or wool is the best choice, because both these materials absorb sweat better than nylon socks. Make sure your feet are completely dry before cursing socks. Wear socks when wet can cause foot moist and trigger odor.
2.      Wash your feet with soap and warm water twice a day, then dry until completely dry. Or add a little baking soda to soap and water when you wash your feet. Baking soda will not reduce sweat, but it can reduce the amount of odor produced. Besides using it to wash your feet, baking soda can also be used to to wash your shoes and socks. Baking soda will help absorb some of the unpleasant odor.
3.      Check the possibility of fungal infection between the toes and the bottom of the foot. When you see any redness or dry skin, use products for foot care or can also consult a doctor will even health workers.
4.      Do not use the same shoes two days in a row. We recommend using different shoes two days in a row. This will give time for the shoes to dry within 24 hours.
