Actually, all kinds of nutrients is very important and useful for our health. But if we do not use the rules in consuming the nutrients contained in the food, not health that you get, but rather a variety of diseases will come. The calcium that contained in the food is too. Calcium is needed by the body, especially for the growth of bones and teeth. In addition, it is necessary for many bodily functions such as muscle contraction, nerve transmission, and so forth.
Although it is needed, calcium should not be consumed in excess. Normal intake of calcium is between 1000 - 1300 mg a day, depends of your old and conditions. If consumption exceeds 2500 mg of calcium daily, it will lead to the emergence of various organ disorders.
A diet with a high content of calcium appeared to have an impact on your health. According to some sources, excess calcium can cause prostate cancer. Why did it happen? Results from a study published in the medical journal of The International Journal of Cancer has indicated that there is a link between a diet with a high content of calcium with the risk of prostate cancer.
To investigate further the researchers conducted a study and observation data and medical records were obtained from the cancer prevention study using the Alpha-Tocopherol, Beta Carotene (ATBC) to test the level of calcium intake and its relation to risk of prostate cancer. ATBC study that included 29,133 Finnish male smokers nationals ranging in age from 50 to 69 years who completed the questionnaire was about 276 kinds of foods to determine their diet when the study began. Having passed the period of 17 years a team of researchers found as many as 1267 cases of prostate cancer from a total of 27,028, they were filling the data to completion are included in the final analysis. We found a strong causal relationship between calcium intake with prostate cancer risk, "the researchers wrote.
Beside that, some disorders due to excess calcium is as follows:

4.      Muscle weakness
